ENGLISH IN PAJAMAS

ENGLISH IN PAJAMAS

It’s cold outside, the sky is grey and days are short. It’s that time of the year when you feel like staying inside, wrapped up warm on your sofa. This is the perfect time and place to learn English while wearing pajamas!

All you need is a tablet or laptop.

Here are some tips on how to improve your English on these cold winter days.

Find an English or American TV show that you would like to follow. Sit back and watch it. Don’t focus on words you don’t understand. Just follow the story, relax and enjoy the series or show.

Stay up-to-date with international newspapers. BBC News and The Guardian are just two websites among hundreds that provide free online articles you can access from your sofa.

The BBC has also created a website for English language learners which is full of news stories, short lessons, podcasts, pronunciation tips and much more. We highly recommend it! Go to: http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/

You Tube offers a world of opportunities and interests. You can find the lyrics to your favourite song, watch funny videos, English lessons and so much more.

If you want to sit back and close your eyes, you can always listen to radio or podcasts. We recommend: https://www.podcastpedia.org/podcasts/119/English-as-a-Second-Language-ESL-Podcast-Learn-English-Online

I think that’s enough for the next few weeks. So, sit back, relax and learn lots of English!
